The Quiet Village and Murder

Eve, an American has a burning desire to uncover the truth about her mysterious father, a man she has never known.  

Her mother has remained tight-lipped, refusing to share any information, and her father's name is conspicuously absent from her birth certificate.

An unexpected opportunity leads Eve to a village in England where she immerses herself in the village's quaint charm.

When a local resident is brutally murdered, she becomes deeply involved in the investigation, but has still not forgotten the reason for her arriving in the village, but could they be linked.
